This is a discussion about View file in Defragmenter in the Customization Tweaking category; bold text I all of a sudden have a bunch of files showing in this view. I have one called Windows/first capture that is 5,156 fragments, also ones from my Documents/aoldata. What is going on?? I used to have 45% space free and it's down to 15%.

I have deleted all the files that I safely can yet everytime I go to defrag I get no additional free space.
Also, is there a way to delete old restore points.. they are showing on defrag and have about 15 now.
Never had this prob with Win98... why now with XP??
Thank you for any help!!!

To delete all restore points except the most recent right-click your drive and on the general tab will be a button named disk cleanup.Click on that and go to the More options tab then at the bottom you will see about cleaning up restore points.
