Virtual COM or infrared port

This is a discussion about Virtual COM or infrared port in the Customization Tweaking category; I have a Compaq Armda V300 upgraded to Windows 2000. It's quite all ok (a part it does not go in standby 'cause not supported by the keyboard!?). The main problem is that I could not find a mean to assign a com port to the infrared port and use a mobile phone to connect to internet.
