This has been circulating for a while now. Obviously not from Microsoft.
Although this is a fake message and has been doing the rounds for a little while, it isn't unheard of for MS to use unmonitored e-mail accounts.
A lot of the Beta e-mail addresses are simply used to send mail messages out and replying to those messages gets you nowhere.
In fact the wording:
"Please do not reply to this message. It was sent from an unmonitored e-mail address and we are unable to respond to any replies"
is exactly what does appear at the bottom of lots of beta related e-mail's.

But surely the big giveaway is that the e-mail didn't actually come from Microsoft.com...?!

That's fairly easy to fake.

Agreed. Actually, most all of the emails I have personally recieved from Microsoft have that added, unless it's an engineer following up on a bug report, etc.
