Viruses, spyware, BSODS of my! What is next? Rootkits......

This is a discussion about Viruses, spyware, BSODS of my! What is next? Rootkits...... in the Windows Security category; Though, rootkits have been in existence for a very long time. Enough said about that. What I do have to say, there is a new tool that can help find if you have any root kits installed on your machine.

What are root kits?

The term rootkit is used to describe the mechanisms and techniques whereby malware,
including viruses, spyware, and trojans, attempt to hide their presence from spyware blockers, antivirus, and system management utilities. There are several rootkit classifications depending on whether the malware survives reboot and whether it executes in user mode or kernel mode.

But, feel free to read my source of information....

Hrmmm, I guess I didn't correctly do a search on this topic. I first wanted to see if anyone posted anything about this, before I posted here. Oh well. Next time, I'll search the body instead of the header.
