VISTA and USB Device Recovery from Low Power
This is a discussion about VISTA and USB Device Recovery from Low Power in the Everything New Technology category; I'm seeing an issue with Vista and some wireless USB devices. Upon returning from either standby or hibernate (S3 and S4), the OS tells the BIOS to issue a bus reset. First of all, this breeches Windows Logo Device Requirement Protocol.

Upon returning from either standby or hibernate (S3 and S4), the OS tells the BIOS to issue a bus reset. First of all, this breeches Windows Logo Device Requirement Protocol. Second, the OS apparently does not enumerate post USB reset. Some devices are ok (Logitech Blue-Tooth keyboard/mouse) and other devices have their table entry initialized. Anyone else having problems with Vista and USB device recovery from low power states? I cludged a fix to refresh the USB table, but thats not the answer.
