Volume Control

This is a discussion about Volume Control in the Windows Software category; You know the little speaker in the system tray by the clock. . . Can this be opened with an. exe file or something ? The reason for this is that I'm trying to move it to a toolbar. Also, can it be changed to control Wave/DirectSound rather that the master volume ?.

I know about sndvol32.exe, but this is not what I want.

When you click the little speaker in the tray, a single volume slider that controls the master volume pops up.

I am trying to move the little speaker to a toolbar.

"SNDVOL32.EXE /tray" was the way to go
Now, anyone knows if the tray volume control can be changed to control Wave/DirectSound rather that the master volume ?
