Voodoo2 games problems

Can someone please please help me.. I got a v2.. works fine in 98 etc, but I installed it under 2k.. works fine in cs after a lot of reinstalling, but im trying to get midtown madness 2 and motorcross madness 2 to work, as it just selects / defaults to software mode for me to use and will not give me any other options to use.. i.e. the v2 card is not being found.
I'm using the drivers off this website.. do I need to change any ini files or whatever around to make it work?..any help would be great. Thanks in advance
