Voodoo5 5500
This is a discussion about Voodoo5 5500 in the Windows Hardware category; I installed windows xp 2485 and i can't get my drivers to work. They install fine but when i try to play games opengl or direct3d does not work. I had a earlier build of xp on my machine and the drivers worked fine but the latest 3 builds it does not work can anyone help me.

Ok i will throw my card in the trash cause it don't work with xp. Ok i love when people post dumb replies if you have no clue how to fix it don't respond, you don't have to let everyone know how ignorant you are. My card works fine in 98,me, and 2000 and yes 3dfx is no more but we arenot asking for sympathy here we are asking for a solution that someone has. Thanks for your reply
Oh, don't mind him, he's know to just piss people off. Your best shot is to make sure you've got the latest drivers.
There's also a place called Voodoo Files CA on the net. They have drivers too. If I remember the link, I'll try to post it for you.
Yes, 3dfx is dead, and I like 3dfx, but if there's no support, well, your kinda shot for the future.
Right now, I'd say make sure you've got the 1.04 driver off 3dfx site if you don't already.

the reason i posted that is cause every damn time a new build of xp comes out i see a post like "my voodoo doesn't do open gl in build 24xx"
