VPCShExH.dll can't be deleted after Virtual PC unistalled
This is a discussion about VPCShExH.dll can't be deleted after Virtual PC unistalled in the Windows Software category; Can anyone tell me how to remove a. dll file (specifically VPCShExH. dll) from my system that got installed with Virtual PC 4? I uninstalled the Prog from add/remove as usual and then tried rebooting and deleting the C:\Program Files\Connectix Virtual PC folder.
Can anyone tell me how to remove a .dll file (specifically VPCShExH.dll) from my system that got installed with Virtual PC 4?
I uninstalled the Prog from add/remove as usual and then tried rebooting and deleting the C:\Program Files\Connectix Virtual PC folder. Just got the 'Access is denied file in use' message.
When I tried the 'regsvr32 /u' command it says:
'vpcshexh.dll was loaded, but the DllUnregisterServer entry point was not found.
DllUnregisterServer may not be exported, or a corrupt version of vpcshexh.dll may be in memory. Consider using Pview to delete or remove it.'
According to the DLLView util the file is being loaded by Window's Explorer.exe
So how do I get rid of this annoying file anyone?
