VPN through Internet on 2 Win2k servers...
Hey guys. . . I've never actually setup a VPN before, I've always found other ways of connecting to other local network. But one of my clients who happens to be a small business is going to need their two networks to be connected, into one LAN if we can.
Hey guys... I've never actually setup a VPN before, I've always found other ways of connecting to other local network. But one of my clients who happens to be a small business is going to need their two networks to be connected, into one LAN if we can... One building has DSL right now, and the other one is getting it installed Monday (22-June-03) and they will want to be able to access the other buildings server and such.
So how do I setup a VPN connection between these two points? Each side has a Win2k server. And I want building A to be able to access the server on network B, and vice a versa.
What is the best way to do this? I would like both buildings to be using the same subnet mask, so I want them to be on the same network essentially.
I hope to hear from ya'll soon. Thx

The last link is for 2003 but I am sure the same is done for 2000 router to router VPN solutions.
EDIT
Never mind, found the 2000 one for site to site / router to router configurations.

In regards to the subnetting .... I would keep them as separate VLANs .... why would you want broadcast traffic going across the VPN?
