VPN usage question

This is a discussion about VPN usage question in the Windows Networking category; I have managed to set up two computers - server/client -and I can connect from the client to the server via the internet. at least it goes thru the motions and tells me it is connected. Now What?? what needs to be configured on the server to access resources there and how do I access them from the client?? thx.

If you have the VPN configured and you are able to connect to the server from the client via VPN, all you need to do is browse to the server (like through Windows Explorer). It's essentially like you are physically on your network, but using a different machine.

Does that make any sense? If not, I'll try to explain it better. What type of resources are you trying to access?
