W2K Dialing the Internet after SP3 and other updates?
Hi I have a strange problem. When I start W2K it dials out to the internet. I recently installed SP3, Updated Internet explorer 5. 5, updated security and Installed Borland C++ Builder 6. System configuration: CUSL2C networked to Dell W98 machine shairing dial up internet connection through the Dell.
Hi
I have a strange problem. When I start W2K it dials out to the internet. I recently installed SP3, Updated Internet explorer 5.5, updated security and Installed Borland C++ Builder 6.
System configuration:
CUSL2C networked to Dell W98 machine shairing dial up internet connection through the Dell.
Dell is running Internet Security 2002. CUSL2C W2K only has Borland C++ Builder 6 installed.
Both machines show no viruses with Norton 2002 virus software.
Dial out happens even when No is clicked when the firewall asks to allow connection of the CUSL2C.
I don't know where to start. The CUSL2C has worked OK. It dual boots W98 and W2K. Most of the time I have been using W98 second addition. I am just setting up to use C++ Builder6 with W2K Any ideas?
Thank you for your time and Help
