W2k f-ed up start menu?

This is a discussion about W2k f-ed up start menu? in the Windows Software category; When I try to drag folders around on the start menu, I get a cannot move XXXX, the source folder is the same as the destination folder. Is there a way to fix this? I log on as the administrator if that's any help.

Move all shortcuts from within All Users, Start Menu, Programs to yourself (main user) folder, Start Menu, Programs. Then right-click taskbar, choose Properties, Advanced, Re-sort.

I have the same problem...think I've narrowed it down to somethin with either SP2 or the IE6 Public Beta from MS's site...hopefully it'll be fixed when IE6 goes final (for example - with an earlier build, the quickplay feature that appears on the left of a folder winfow for media files disappeared, but its fixed with this version)
