This is a discussion about Warcraft II in the Windows Games category; I'm trying to run Warcraft 2 on Windows 2000. . . but it tells me that the VESA driver isn't setup. . . . is there anyway to get around this?.

This is because windows 2000 does not emulate VESA in a dos box. My suggestion would be to buy the Battle.net edition of Warcraft II which is a native Windows application and runs fine under windows 2000. It is typically $9.99 US but I have seen it as low as $1.99 US.
