I have updated the bios and via drivers and reinstalled win2k many times anyone got any ideas ??
SYSTEM CONFIG
amd tb 1.1ghz
2 x 128 pc133 ram
46.1 ibm deskstar 7200 HDD
50 x cd rom drive
8 x 4 x 32 CDRW samsung
microstar 6330 ktpro MB bios ver 1.90
ls120 floptical drive
voodoo 3 3000 agp latest drivers
speedcom 56k internal hardware modem
300 psu
i dont think this is a heat problem as it will do it when its cold, another thing is if i put into the system a 650 duron it dont play silly buggers so do you think this is a power problem ???
Thanks in advance, and this forum makes for some good learning

well its the 3rd psu i have had but its from the same place 3 times i have ordered a amd rated one as i think the problem lies with the psu as you say...
the psu is 250 watt max output 300watt but i think it is not switching to the max power before the CPU and so the CPU says oppps no power i'm off so yes i think its a bad make of psu....
but hey thank you for replying so soon and a merry xmas to you all

.....this is a long shot, but it could be a memory dump, just try turning that off, see if that helps at all, but usually it gives a nice bsod. But, it could also be the connection to the mobo, check that out, and all the other connections, and if they are all ok, i would suggest getting another case, as the power supply will prolly be round the same $$$$.
