What are these files in \WINNT\SYSTEM32\WBEM\MOF

I don't know what the files are in particular, but WBEM is Web-Based Enterprise Management and MOF is Managed Object Format. I think its part of the Windows Management Instrumentation scheme and the way it's implemented through the Component Object Model. I wouldn't mess with it without doing a little research. If you're braver than I am, please post back to let us know how it goes.

In the end I Ghosted by boot partition and then deleted them. I rebooted right away and all seems well! This was just after my previous post and all has been well since, no problems with any of my apps or games etc.
 
I don't really know what they did but getting rid of them has had no ill effects at all.
 
Just make a backup before you do the same!
