What is lsass.exe?
This is a discussion about What is lsass.exe? in the Windows Software category; What is lsass. exe - LSA Shell (export version) ?? When ever it runs my CPU usage goes up to 100%. I've only seen it running one time though, so what causes it to run? And do I need it to run. This is on XP Pro.
