I know this is quite a popular post here, I have a Sound Blaster Live! CT4620 and have had it for nearly 4 years, and was very happy with until I got Windows XP Professional from work. I'm suffering from all the common problems, sound stuttering and generally poor quality from certain games because I have a Soltek 75DRV2 KT266/a chipset motherboard. I have looked at the SonicFury and Hercules Game Theater XP becaues of the good reviews.

What cards do you guys recommend for good drivers and features equivalent to the SBLive?

Thanks

Well, if you don't desire an external box, I just picked up the Hercules Fortissimo II. I haven't done any gaming yet, but this card rocks. The Audigy is also good, unfortunately mine is being a b!tch about sounding good on my main system with the KT266 chipset. It's worked fine before so don't discount it for my experience. The Fortissimo II would be a good bet if you're on a budget. It's 60 bucks USD on retail shelves and cheaper (mid $40's) on line.
