When can the KT333A Chipset be expected on boards? Or is it
This is a discussion about When can the KT333A Chipset be expected on boards? Or is it in the Windows Hardware category; Via has released the KT333A as KT333. According to their specs, the only way to tell if the board has the real KT333 or it´s predecessor is the AGP speed. The old one has only 4x, while the new one supports even 8x AGP.

Who cares? it's a piece of **** either way
There will be no "KT333A". The next Via chipset for the AMD platform will be the KT400--which probably won't much, if, any performance boost above the KT333--which didn't prove much faster than the KT266A.
The KT333 Boards are availible now through venders.
the KT333A chipset is known as the KT333CE chipset...this is in circulation now. Epox is currently already using it.
Actually no. The CE version is just a specific stepping of the KT333. It's main advantage is being able to overclock very well. It is not a new chipset. It is still the KT333.
