You can flash it with Nvidia's BIOS, but if you have any extra functions on the board like TV-out, you may lose them.
Also, you'll have to be in Win9x to flash the BIOS, which could be a bit of a problem under 2k.
Try M3DZone

Question: Do you really need to flash your vid BIOS?
If you use the Nvidia BIOS, you will only be able to use the reference drivers.
Unless you're in a situation that requires a BIOS flash for your card, do as the Beatles say and "Let it be."
I'd guess the latest ones would be the ones on the bottom of your list.
Again, why are you looking into it? Do you need it?

hi Brian,
The reason i want to flash the Graphics card bios is :
In win2K and XP i cant play half-life or counterstrike...... the game starts fine, sometimes it lasts 5 minutes then crashes and drops to desktop, sometimes might be 10 minutes... then it crashes......
I have tried all the detonator drivers, nvrefix etc..... and it still happens ..... on 98SE it runs fine .....
I have tried everything possible to get it to run properly but no luck.....
through searching there seem to be a few people with this problem....
my guess is its the card ......
the bios I had was 3.11.00.08
i now have 3.11.01.37 (thanks to the link you gave me)
i am just about to test and see if it runs any better, it so damn frustrating.......
if it was just XP it wouldnt bother me , but it happens exactly the same in 2K
any ideas would be appreciated
thanks

Set BIOS back to original settings, make sure AGP 4x is disabled, AGP drive strength is DA or default.
What Dos said.
Also, is is just in HL/CS, or in different games? If it's just HL/CS look for any patches you may have missed.
NVrefresh rate won't fix any of these problems. It's only for the monitor refresh rate in games, nothing else.
