Windoctor that has been around for Years in Most Versions of Norton System Works and Norton Utilities is a Very Efficient Program.
I wanted to Install it on it's Own, without all the other unecessary stuff that comes with the main program.
So at this point in time I have Copied out some 44 Files from the NU Directory of NSW 2005.
It works OK, with one little Annoying Warning.
It says ( Warning, the undo engine is not available when running directly from the Cd, any fixes performed for this session cannot be undone).
I also would like to Reduce the amount of Files further.
I read somewhere once that it only requires about 6.
It's a very Slow Process, eg, you remove One File, then Run Windoctor, it then Reports that it can't find such and such file.
So you copy the last one back in and attempt to remove another one.
I have been using that method , thats how I got the List Down to 44, but I'm Sure it can be reduced further.
I asked Symantec about this but naturally they would'nt comment.
