WIN 2000 PRO RESTARTS AFTER STARTUP

WHEN I TURN THE COMPUTER ON IT GOES PAST THE WIN 2000 PRO SCREEN THEN A BLUE SCREEN COMES ON FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THEN MY COMPUTER RESTARTS. I'VE TRIED SAFE MODE, VGA MODE, LAST KNOWN GOOD CONFIGURATION, AND SO ON.

have you tried doing a fix by putting in the windows 2000 cd and booting up like you were going to install it again but instead of installing it again you just hit R on your keyboard and do a repair. that might help if not then you have find out what files are missing and then install them from the cd or make it eaiser and less stressful for yourself and reformat the sucker. hope this helps
