First try the games.
If no work then come back.

XP's compatibility with 95/98/ME games is pretty damn good. The assistant is located in the Accessories section of the start menu. However, first try the games normally without fiddling, most of them work fine.

OP
I have already tried the games (Baphomet 1+2 and Galador) and they didn´t run at all.
Which start menue do you mean pmistry ? (Sorry, but English is a foreign language for me...)

In WinXP, click Start, then All Programs, then Accessories, and then Program Compatibility Wizard.
If no luck, then use the help system and search for "compatibility."

Galador doesn´t run at all; neither on Win 95 simulation nor on 98 sim.....
I´m outta luck !

I am also interested in playing old games. The Comp. Wiz guides me to the Control Panel, then seems to say that the operating system name must be changed from Windows XP Home Edition/fast detect,to WINDOWS 95.Is that right,or what.Plus indicates a time frame for starting up with Windows 95.Did I miss something.I don't want to try this until I am sure.
