Win NT and USB devices??
This is a discussion about Win NT and USB devices?? in the Customization Tweaking category; Does anyone know if Win NT 4 supports USB devices, particularly zip drives and drawing tablets. If not, does anyone know of any workaround. I recently changed from win 98 to win nt workstation and it would be bad if now my USB devices didn't work.

My best advice? Go with Windows 2000, not NT 4.

NT 4 does not and will not support USB. Switch to Win2000 Pro instead.

The Iomega USB Zip drive does work under NT4, it basically installs a USB SCSI storage device driver, and it only works with the zip drive, but it does work.
With Servicepack 6 or http://www.bluewatersystems.com/products_USB_Retail.html
