Win2000 System Freeze

I have huge problems with Win2000 and my Terratec 128 PCI soundcard. When I play Music on my Computer (e. g. with Winamp) the System freezes after approximately a few minutes. Sometimes it takes up to hours, but it always crashes.

When I play Music on my Computer (e.g. with Winamp) the System freezes after approximately a few minutes. Sometimes it takes up to hours, but it always crashes. When I try to establish a connection to the internet while I am listening to music, the system freezes immediately.

There are no conflicts shown among the different devices. But when I deactivate my soundcard the system runs fine. I have also installed all new drivers and service packages but I do not get rid of this problem, hope somebody can help me there.

I had problems also with that card...plus the sound quality sucked, it popped and skipped all the time, even in game intros, or fmv sequences...I sold it.
