This is a discussion about Win2k 2000 Server; trouble with access by Terminal Client in the Windows Networking category; Logging onto the Win2k Server locally shows applications running (like Norton AV) in the taskbar. Back to my workstation, I try to log onto the server again using the terminal client. Althou I´ve used the same name ans pass as locally, I am not able to see these given applications running.

I would suggest VNC. There are some apps that cannot be run thru a TS client, VNC is the common workaround. Oh, and it's free, too.
TS does not interact with the desktop and was not designed to do so. You need programs such as SMS,Dameware,VNC to do what your asking.

Thanks to you two. I´ll check out those programs.

Uh, sorry if that sounds weird, but where does one find this "SMS"? Using Google to find it doesn´t yield useful results...
