Win2k + CUSL2 performance
I am getting REALLY bad disk performance with this setup in Win2k. My HDD is constantly getting thrashed, and everything is much more sluggish than expected. Anybody got this working on a decent performance level?.

Yes, I've tried that, as well as using some of the tweak guides from various websites, all to no avail. Seems strange to me because I used to have Win2k running on a 5400rpm Maxtor drive awhile back (albeit not on this system) and it ran extremely smooth.

My CUSL-2 has just been sent back for repair
Once I get it back I will run some tests again and see the benchmark scores, however I must admit I had never noticed any bad performance with this board.

whats the pagefile min/max set to?
make sure they are both set to the same setting. changing pagefile size on the fly is horridly slow. u have the same system memory i do so u can set your pagefile to cache only when nessesary
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
and set this dword to
DisablePagingExecutive 1
