Win2k install via an upgrade disk

This is a discussion about Win2k install via an upgrade disk in the Windows Software category; Heres the poop. I was asked if one could install a new , clean copy of win2k using an upgrade disk. The answer is yes* * = 2 cd drives on your system. If you have 2 cd drives then you only need to direct the question of where is the prior windows installation to the cd drive that you have the win98 cd in.

If you have 2 cd drives then you only need to direct the question of "where is the prior windows installation " to the cd drive that you have the win98 cd in. So if I want to do an install , clean , win2k from an upgrade disk , from a fdisd , formatted HD , I only need to insert a win98 CD into my e,f,g, what ever drive and direct the upgrade disk to detect that CD.
No one could tell me this when I asked if it could be done.....So I tried it and hey what .............No Sh*&.
So enjoy if you didn't know.
