So i restored backed up data from my old hard drive to a newer, larger one but backup didnt transfer all the system files so i had to do it tediously by hand. I eventually reached my peak of success being able to boot from the new drive but after the password window it appears to logon for a split second then proceeds to 'boot' me out. All solutions that ive found for this looping problem has been for WinXP but i operate off the lower end Win2k. Ive tried managing what i can from the XP solutions but have had no luck. Im hoping that someone could give me a breeze in the right direction to solving this problem.
