256mdsram
montegobay 2 sound card
diamond viper v770d vid card
Hp 9100 8x/4x/4x cdr
I install windows 2000 and for no apparent reason it freezes and locks up on me.I thought i narrowed it down to the sound drivers.. but I couldnt get it to duplicate the problem. Anyone have any suggestions? I am as I know it up to date on all avaliable drivers.. video etc.

Hi,
I have a DELL too (XPS T550) and I too had random lockup probs with it for a while...In my case I narrowed it down to the version of NVidia video drivers I was using (games, apps and even the opsys would just lockup completely, focing me to reboot the system). I've since switched to the WHQL-certified 6.62 drivers and everything's working great since.
Hope this of some use.........
