Hi,
I'm not sure if this message belongs in games or Networking, but here's my question: I recently installed UT (4.36) on Win2K. However, now, none of the users can access the internet or check their email. They can still see other computers through the network though. Only the administrator account can check the internet. My computer specs are:
Win2K (SP2)
PIII 500
256 MB RAM
TNT2 Video Card (Latest Drivers)
I'm not sure how to fix this problem. Any suggestions?

Hi,
I'm also experiencing the same problem. I cannot get any users except those with admin rights to access the internet. LAN connectivity is still works with all users, it's just the internet I'm having problems with. Can someone please help us!
Thanks

Did this problem also conincide with installing Unreal Tournament?
Well, are you using dial-up or cable/DSL? If it's the latter, you may try reinstalling the components that you have there.

I've got ethernet (hooked up through a university). I don't think the problem is hardware 'cause the administrator can still access the internet, and users can still see other computers on the network (though they no longer have internet connectivity). For the users, IE5.5 tells 'em that it has no means of connecting to the internet.
Make sure the drives or files you want people to see are shared. But before this, make sure the Guest accout is enabled. It's in Admin. Tools in the control panel, under Computer Management--->Users and Guests. After that, you should be able to enable sharing w/o a hitch.
Oh, BTW, when I said components, I ment networking components like TCP/IP, File & Printer sharing, etc.
