Win2K problems with MW4 and HL
Alright here is the problem. In both Half-Life, Counter Strike, (OpenGL mode) and MW4 (D3D req. DX8) I get lockups. . . . semi random, usually within 30 min. Now this is with my GeForce DDR, now when I put in my GeForce2 MX they run perfectly fine which is whats weird.

MS VIA AGP Win2K patch
VIA 4in1 4.25-4.28
NVidia Reference Drivers 6.31-6.67
SP1
All games are patched to latest version.
Asus A7V
256MB PC133 CLS2
T-Bird 800@1060 (No its not the OCing causing it I checked)
Creative GeForce DDR
The MX is a Micro-X GeForce2 MX (Got it for free)
Ive tried every BIOS option I can think of too... Fast Writes off, AGP Aperature Size, AGP 2X instead of 4...
So if you have any ideas let me know.

Try and modify your graphic card advanced settings.
In Direct3D, typically Fog table emulation sould be enabled to avoid random lock ups while alternate depth buffering must be disabled (Shogun Total War; Battle Isle The Andosia War).
In OpenGL, block mode is necessary for some games (Cataclysm; Half-life).
Check the Geforce Faq and install the file iopagelock.reg:
