Will there be any issues with this upgrade on both the OS and Exchange? Or will I be forced to do a fresh install? What would be the best method for me to backup the Exchange 2k database so that I can place it in the 2003 version?

Thanks in advance!

Swing server it. In other words, build a temp exchange server, a member of the same exchange organization. Move the mailboxes to it. Rebuild the new server as exchange2k3. Move the mailboxes back.
