Win2k with service pack 4 startup hang time......

now that i have installed service pack 4 it hangs at the blue screen when starting up. the little box pops up loading settings, then disappears with the blue screen left for like a min before my desktop loads up.

now that i have installed service pack 4 it hangs at the blue screen when starting up. the little box pops up loading settings, then disappears with the blue screen left for like a min before my desktop loads up. anyone else have this problem or know the solution to speedy startup again? thanks

Sounds like you have a service that is hanging and making windows wait. Dchjeck your event log.
Right click my cxomputer>manage>event viewer>system
 
Remmeber, event viewer is your friend.

When i go to do that, it says..... unable to complete the operation on "system" the interface is unknown. What now?
