win98
This is a discussion about win98 in the Legacy OS category; i'm trying to resurrect an older (400mhz, celeron, 128mb ram) win98 SE machine. it has 2 hard drives in there set on primary master and primary slave. the bios recognizes it and it seems to be in the device manager.

Has the second disk been partitioned and formatted. If its blank, then Windows will not recognise it. Run FDISK, select the second HD and create a new primary partition on it, then format it.
