but win 2000 has decided to make D: E: and E: F: so I have problems with installed apps notpointing to the correct drives is there an easy way to fix twin 98 apps are in c:program files and win 2000 apps are in the win 2000 program files
originally tried having all apps common in the c: program files but some wouldent install correctly so kept them to their own os but still having probs any help appreciated ps all partitions using fat 32 and all clean installs didn't have these probs with 98 and nt installed to a dir on the same drive
Thanks, Brent

This is pretty easy to do, though I've not used it.
Go into Control Panel, open Administrative tools, click on Computer Management, go to Storage->Disk Management. Right click on the drives that you want to change the letters. The menu that comes up should have "Change Drive Letter and Path".

well been there done that isn't that simple as win 2000 will not let me change the drive letter of the drive which has the os installed on it and I cant seem to change it from win 98 SE as well else I would chenge the drive from D: to E there and problem would be solved
any other ideas??
