windows LAGS really bad after connecting to dsl through XP's

1. 4ghz, 512ddr ram, etc. . . . a fast *** pc. . . . and whenever i connect to my dsl through PPPoE, everything in windows is lagged. . . like my computer, etc. . . everything runs really really slow and laggy.

another pc in my house is 800mhz, and slower - and works just fine - same network card...same dsl...all plugged into same router...
 
WHY!?!?!?! windows is running so damn slow! it locks up cuz it lags so much..then i disconnect from the dsl, nnd its fine.

Another thing to do is to get the program LF Connection keeper. It is a really small progg that doesnt steal any RAM and it keeps you connected all the time.
 
It auto connects upon windows startup (thats an option ofcourse). There are some small options to settle but nothing to complicated and then your up and running.
