I have already un/reinstalled NEtwork components, and DUN. I thought that it was caused by a corrupt winsock file, however they have removed the System File checker, or atleast the Run command of SFC. Any help or input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I have the same problem with my dial-up. Just wait for about 3 minutes and your dial-up connection should start recieving data again. I know its annoying but i haven't found a permanent fix for this.

Thanks for the info about SFC, however after un/reinstalling everything, I mean everything. I finally decided to do a format and fresh install, works great now. Discovered the problem, it was caused by uninstalling AOL 5.0.
