What spec PC do you have? Do you have latest audio and graphics drivers installed?
howdy mate,
I was wondering why do you really wanna use mp9? I reckon Winamp (+VLC) would do the job 10 times better than Bill' memory hog.
Cheers

Upgrade to XP, '98 is obsolete, and Micro$haft doesn't support it anymore. Basically, don't count on any kind of support for '98 from M$, which includes WMP 9.
