Windows NT4 & Windows 2000 ADV Server

When i was studying for my MCP i was given by microsoft press a 120 day evaluation copy of NT4 installed it at work everything working ok --- Now my boss wants me to put 2000 adv server on to this machine but someone told me that i would have to format this machine to run 2000 but i want to use the upgrade facility and not loose all the info -- but if i upgrade which it will allow me to do and overwrite NT4 will this get rid of the 120 day protection ???
There aint no way i can realy format this machine ...... please help me !!!!!

Upgrading from the eval version will cause you no problems. This was done so you could upgrade to the full version after the evaluation without losing anything.
