Just a thought for all those who are having problems with there Geforce 3 and other graphics cards ! This what I have noticed if you run dxdiag DirectX diagnostic tool / Display tab
Ignore the first test Direct Draw
RUN Test Direct3D
First test
It will then tell you that this test will use hardware-accelerated DirectX 7 interfaces. ( Funny dont Windows XP have DirectX 8.1 Installed )
Second Test
It will then tell you that this test will use hardware-accelerated DirectX 8 interfaces.
Has anybody else noticed this

Nothing strange really. The DirectX 7 interfaces are still in there 'cause otherwise any program written for DX7 would no longer work once DX8 was installed.
