i would like to network these PCs via the D-Link router, all of the PCs have network cards installed in them
what do i have to do exactly to setup a LAN with this setup?

Does the D-Link router provide internal/LAN DHCP services, if so then there isn't anything else needed other then ethernet cables connecting each machine to the router
Basically the DHCP server will provide every internal machine with it's own unique private IP address, usually in the 192.168.xxx.xxx range.
