Windows XP not booting

I'm having trouble getting Windows to complete it's boot. It goes to a black screen after the loading screen with the logo and the scrolling blue(sometimes green) bars. I'm having trouble getting Windows to complete it's boot. It goes to a black screen after the loading screen with the logo and the scrolling blue(sometimes green) bars. I think I've narrowed down the problem to corrupted video drivers because when I boot in safe mode then remove the video drivers I can complete the boot sequence. When I re-install the drivers for my video card the problem returns.

What video card? Tried older drivers?

Try the latest driver. then go down the list whit older driver. good luck

The Card is a Nvidia Gforce Ti 4200. The latest drivers are the ones I'm trying, but I don't have access to any of the older ones.
