WINDOWS XP PCs running on Windows NT 4.0 server
I am about to order 3 new PCs with XP Pro loaded. Should I expect any problems when connecting to my office network which has a Windows NT 4. 0 server ?.

Don't you, uh, kinda need that for the Internet?

Actaully it will depend on if the domain is running static IPs or dynamic, correct?
It look like I am going to have to start drinking more coffee, earlier, so I can fully pay attention to what I am reading...
there is a problem with nt server and xp clients where the xp dns client get stuck in a loop even to the point of stalling the computer a little.
so i killed the dns client on the xp boxes and the whole network is working better because the xp boxes arent flooding the dns servers.
xp clients do not need the dns client service active. set it to manual

I was going by the definition of DNS client here:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treevie...cs/win2ksvc.asp
But if it works for you without it, then cool. I wouldn't disable it (nor many of the services) myself though. Just never had the need.
