Windows XP Professional Release Candidate 2 (RC2) has been released. Microsoft is now in the process of making RC2 available for download by Preview Program participants. Once download hosting has been tested, secured, and made available, Windows XP Preview Program (WPP) customers will receive e-mail notifications with download instructions. If you are receiving this e-mail, you will receive your RC2 notification e-mail containing specific download instructions and information.
 
What to expect: Customers who registered for the WPP prior to 7:00 p.m. on July 25 will begin receiving RC2 notification e-mails from Conxion on Tuesday, July 31. Notifications will continue in waves through the end of the week and will be processed according to the date you registered for the program. Customers who registered for the WPP after 7:00 p.m. on July 25 will begin receiving their notifications on or after August 3. Beginning August 6, we hope to process new WPP orders within three business days.
