I have been trying download the Windows XP Applictaion Compatibility Update. . . However I can not find any options to download this as a file. . . Is this update available for download in a distributable format??? I have a machine which is not connected to the internet and wish to install this update.

try looking around here: The corporate area has downloads for distribution:

this has updates for windowsxp that u can download .. that corporate site mentioned in the above post only has updates for nt/9x/2000
