Recently I had to wipe my hard drive and reinstall everything. This includes Windvd 4 on my (dinosaur0 Computer. I tried to take screencaps again using the p button but I keept getting this message that says "The screen capture feature will not function while hardware acceleration is enabled" so i tried to go into properties to try and fix it but the only thing that its under the 'display' tab are 'lock aspect ratio' and 'start up in full screen mode'. I was wondering if someone could help me figure out what to do to disable the hardware motion compensation so I can get my screen caps again. Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can give!

Actually, this may be referring to DirectX. Click on Run then type dxdiag . Look at the tabs and click on Display. You can disable the hardware acceleration there. On the other hand, depending on your video card, a different set of drivers might do the same thing.
