WinFast PVR 2000 - stereo sound?

Hi there I have recently bought a WinFast PVR 2000 video card and I'm using it to convert some of my videos to DVDs. I have noticed that I am only getting mono sounds on my DVDs (left channel only) but when I go into the Configuration and Settings, it says that the MPEG is recording in Stereo on Layer 2.

Hi there

I have recently bought a WinFast PVR 2000 video card and I'm using it to convert some of my videos to DVDs. I have noticed that I am only getting mono sounds on my DVDs (left channel only) but when I go into the Configuration and Settings, it says that the MPEG is recording in Stereo on Layer 2. I am using DirectBurn to DVD (as it makes my life a little easier).

Does anyone know if/how I can get stereo recording of sound on the final product DVD? Do I need a dual layer DVD burner to get Layer 2 (I'm reaching but I figured I'll explore every option!)? Is there any PVR card that will burn in stereo sound (the computer store I bought the card off does not carry the PVR 2000 Pro, which appears to have a stereo plug, rather than the mono that I have in the PVR 2000)?

Many thanks for any replies.
