Winroute Pro

I have always used winroute PRO as a firewall, and to share the net at home. But, as soon as winroute tries to startup (when xp is starting up), im presented with a lovely blue screen. I am NOT going to use the windows firewall/net sharing functions, as its fuctionality is: Firewall, nothing more.

But does anyone have any other NAT software that is working fine in xp?

Yes there surely is. I am currently using a tiny app called Proxy+ that does the same thing as Winroute/Gate. I had some headaches with this **** Winroute and I decided to throw it off the window. Oh, btw. went back to W2K SP2 in the meantime

ya i got an e-mail back from tinysoftware who make winroute. the guy said ms kept changing some networking code with each beta so they're going to wait till its out before making winroute compatible. no suprise.
