I keep getting that error too and it won't close. The only way I can get rid of it is to restart as I can't log off. This error and others have occurred since my sons have downloaded games from the net. Have you downloaded games from the net? Also getting a)WinStat.exe - Application Error b)RUNDLL error loading c:\window\downloaded program files\bridge.dll

Any and all suggestions are very welcome.

If you can that is, go into safe mode...ie...reboot the computer, hit F8 after the post, but before the XP scrolly screen appears.

Then logon as your account, run MSCONFIG and the STart and Run. Select the Selective Startup radial button. Uncheck "Load Startup Items", System.ini, and Win.ini. Reboot the computer normally, and try getting into your account.

After that is done, download/run spybot, adaware, and possibly even Giant..err Microsoft Antispyware.
